Beasts 2 update!

Beasts!
As the world turns and burns through this election week, we hope this update finds all of you healthy and well.
Beasts Of The Black Hand 2: The Viking League is, page by page, becoming a reality. Ron Marz and Matthew Smith, along with the loving god-among-men that is Paul Harding supervising, are crafting an exceptional tale of good, evil, intrigue, adventure, men, monsters and men that are secretly monsters on the inside. Plus more Biffy than you can shake a stick at.
The bad news is, the book is coming along more slowly than we anticipated. Matthew uprooted and moved to a different state (if you've got a new neighbor that stays up all night writing and drawing, you probably live next door to Matt now) which, along with keeping up on his ongoing Amelia Shadows project, has slowed down his output. Ron has also been waylaid slightly, between his daily duties as Editor-In-Chief/VP of content at Ominous and co-writing every DC Comic for the month of December. With that kind of workload, it's actually kind of impressive how much of his focus has remained on Beasts 2.
No one is happy that we're running behind on Beasts 2 but we always feel it's better to push the date out than it is to rush production and end up with an inferior comic. We're currently looking at printing and fulfilling this project in late January, about 6 weeks further along than anticipated. Of course, if that timeframe changes in either direction, we'll immediately let you know!
Our next update will be chock full of brand new art; unfortunately, there's not much we can show right now that isn't spoiler heavy and we want to be very cautious about revealing too much of the story the boys have put together. Until then, please hang in there, stay safe, wear a mask and wash your hands!
And breathe. Don't forget to breathe this week, especially.

Hey Beasts! Hope everyone is staying safe and doing well out there!
We wanted to take a second and share a couple of pages of interior art with all of you as production of Beasts 2: The Viking League lurches into gear. Paul and Ron have put together a really engaging story that builds out the historical/fictional world of the original Beasts Of The Black Hand, while taking the action and horror (and monsters) to surprising new heights.
And of course, Matthew Dow Smith (or MDS, as we refer to him) is upping his game accordingly.
We'll be sure to keep you guys in the loop as things progress in the Beastly world. In the meantime, wear a mask and wash your hands.

The End Is Near...

Beasts!
30 hours left as these words are being typed and we have made significant progress towards our goal of bringing Beasts Of The Black Hand: The Viking League out of the shadows and into the light!
We started the week at 54% of our funding goal, determined but a tiny bit unsure of how these last few days would go and, 48 hours later, we're juuuuuuuuuuust over 90% funded thanks to all of you that have joined the campaign or increased your pledges. In particular, let's give Les Allen and Brian Mulvey a special round of applause for their incredible support of this project. Take a bow, guys, and consider yourself honorary members of the Black Hand!
As we close in on our final day, in order to keep the madness marching forward we're introducing several more limited variant covers to the campaign, from Eric Powell, Meghan Hetrick, Marc Laming, Paul Harding and Matthew Dow Smith, as well as one convenient bundle to bring them all home and in the darkness bind them. Take a look...

Hey Beasts!
As Kickstarter goes about collecting pledges, we're moving into production on the second chapter of the Beasts saga, as well as organizing campaign assets for this new post-campaign world we're now living in. We'll be supplying you with periodic updates letting you know how things are going along the way.
In the meantime, there have been several messages from backers who wanted to add more Beastly goodness to their pledges but ran out of time. To help you guys out, we've launched the Backerkit preorder page. Everything that was listed during the campaign is available (or will be; sculpt rewards are currently being added) on the page now, which you can find HERE!
